DOODH SAAR

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 large cardamoms
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp coconut
  • 2 red chilies
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 3 – 4 tbsp oil
  • 5 tbsp kolhapuri masala
  • 1 ltr raw milk

 Method

  • Roast coriander seeds, sesame, black pepper, red chilli, cardamoms on a hot pan and grind them into a fine powder.
  • In a pot, heat oil and add finely chopped onions, chopped potatoes, kohlapuri masala, freshly ground masala and saute well.
  • Add the milk and cook till potatoes are done.
  • Doodh Saar is ready.
  • Serve it hot with Kohlapuri masala and salt.
